Re: Charger not turning off
With the charger on, i got 14, 14.5, 13.9, 13.8. (14.5 one is the one i had to add the most water to recently)
When I unplugged the charger, and they read 13.0, 13.19, 13.0, 12.93. Am I going to have to replace all these batteries even though they are a little over a year old? Should i just start charging them manually by unplugging the charger after a couple hours? |

Re: Charger not turning off
Doesn't look like any dead cells, but the 0.7V difference on-charge is a lot.
They got closer when unplugged, but still reading a surface charge. Let the sit for about 12 hours without being charged or discharged and check the At-Rest voltages. They ought to be within 0.1V. If not use a 12V charger and give the lower voltage ones a boost charge to get them all at the same at-rest voltage. Cleaning the cables and terminals might help. --------- Have the batteries been overflowing? Is the a single point watering system installed, or is each cell filled individually? |

Re: Charger not turning off
I let it sit overnight, here are the readings this morning. 12.78, 12.9, 12.76, 12.65
Nothing looks really wrong with the batteries, but im sure if i start the charge again it will not turn off until it times out. Is there something in the charing port that i should check? Or should i just charge them again and hope they normalize? |

Re: Charger not turning off
Other than charging the battery that is at 12.65V for a few hours with a 12V charger and cleaning the terminals in the charge receptacle and plug as well as those on the interconnecting cables, I've exhausted my knowledge about the PW QE charger and RXV charging circuit.

Re: Charger not turning off
I charged the batteries again last night, this morning the charger had one red flash. My guess is that the battery temperature was too high, but I will try to clean that charging port. All the batteries were within .1 V except that second one that always seems a little higher. Total was 51V.
