Question QuiQ Fault indicator on Solid Red not flashing. Will not cut on.

QuiQ Charger will not cut on. Batteries 72.1.

Fault indicator- on Solid Red- not flashing.

Bulk charge - on solid .

Charge completion-on solid.

Ac indicator- on solid.

Trouble shoot guide says -Charge enable fault ? ( it indicates that it should be flashing ? )

Thanks

I have not disconnected the charger from the battery pack yet. I will do this in the morning and see what that trouble shooting method gets me.
I will read the charging algorithm and maybe someone can help me figure out if it is correct or needs to be changed for some reason other than what the factory settings are.
Again the Red Fault light is NOT flashing...its steady on ??? I cant find a code or mention of a steady light only a flashing light.
Charger is model # 912-7254 serial # DQDB721523100621

Ok I disconnected 110v , then disconnected batt. charger pos wire from Batt. pack reconnected 110v wire. Still the same 4 lights on and fault light solid on.
charger did not run a self scan. i disconnected the output to see if that made any difference ...nope.
I removed the charger cover , there is about a 3 inch circle on the lid of black soot. i dont know if this is normal but i would think something burnt or got too hot. Since no one has responded at all i guess I'm going to order a charger. ill let you know if this fixes it. Maybe this will help someone else in the future .. sure hasn't helped me figure anything out posting this .

In my experience, and I know CGtech will disagree, the QuiQ is as much garbage as a PowerWise QE or Delta Q SC-48. It feels more robust but fails in the same way with many of the same 'faults' (which aren't true faults, like you'll get one that claims the DC volts are too low or a DC connector charge enable fault, but the problem is inside the charger)

We got one shelf full of dead/smoked out QEs, another filling up already with dead ERICs and SC-48s, and in our storage building where we store carts/parts we got one shelf full of dead QuiQs from years ago. We don't see QuiQs much anymore.
