Charing issue with Alltrax controller
I just recently purchased a 2018 club car precedent. I've installed the alltrax 500 amp controller and madjax ultimate light kit. I cannot get the Eric charger to turn on unless I unplug the charger and unplug the positive cable from the batteries for 1 minute and then re-plug everything. Any idea what is going on?

Re: Charing issue with Alltrax controller
The ERIC Charger is simple. As long as there's full pack voltage to the positive and negative pins of the charger receptacle the charger will work. If it doesn't work, something is wrong with the charger.

Re: Charing issue with Alltrax controller
Is there a way to test the charger itself? It worked fine before I did the upgrade, less than a week ago, and it works after I unplug and replug everything. I don’t want to have to keep resetting everything just to charge the cart though. I just want to plug it in and have it work like it should.

Re: Charing issue with Alltrax controller
Make sure that on the Solenoid big post that goes to the Controller, it has no other wires except for the big cable and the Regen diode anode (side with no stripe).
All other smaller gauge wires go on the big post that connects to the battery. |

Is your charger mounted on-board?

Re: Charing issue with Alltrax controller
I'll take a picture later. There is a red and a black, maybe 10-12 gauge wires with ring connectors that weren't in the instructions to install anywhere so I put them on the solenoid. I can't imagine leaving them loose in there.

Re: Charing issue with Alltrax controller
Post a picture of your solenoid big posts as your description of what wires you connected there is not clear.
