Default Before and After Motor Swap

I currently have a D&D 4:2A motor in my cart. Also the upgrades in my signature. My issue is when driving on roads, I can get up to 18mph or so. Problem is on some of these hills in western pa, it’ll slow down to 9-12mph depending on the hill.

Called and talked to Vic at D&D and we discussed it and decided on their ES-58 custom motor. So I took the cart for a 5 mile ride last night up and down these hills and took a pic of the speedometer app I use. I noted that I slowed down to 12mph on one hill, 11mph on another, and 9mph on the steepest hill. The avg speed is not accurate due to going pretty fast down these same hills.

Going to do the same trip with the ES-58 and see what the difference is. I’m mostly concerned with the speed going up these same hills. Hopefully there is a big difference while going up hill.

Ok, so got the motor swapped out. Not too bad of a job.

Anyway. I definitely gained some speed! My avg mph went up over 4. Speed on hills went up an average of 4-5mph.

Overall very happy with the motor swap.
