Default Cart Making Clicking Noise when Pressing Gas

Hello All!

I have a 2003 48V Villager 6 and when I press the gas pedal, I only get a clicking noise. I replaced the solenoid thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. Still get the clicking noise.

What else could it be? The wires look like they could use replaced as they are old and beat up???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Jacob

The clicking noise when you hit the "go" pedal (since it's 48V, not gas) means your solenoid is working. If the cart's not moving, try checking the controller.

What is the pack (total) voltage of the batteries?

First, need to clean/replace those wires. Next charge cart overnite, let rest for 12 hours and post pack voltage and indivdiual battery voltages.

so....had a buddy who was more familiar than I in reading mutimeters come over and check it out. Everything seemed to have the correct reading between the throttle, solenoid, controller...…

But when we checked the motor there was :

intermittent continuity between S1 & S2...(S1 is Damaged and corroded) and ZERO continuity between A1 and A2...

This leads me to believe that I need a motor! Anyone care to comment??
