1996 TXT Steering Rack

Working on a 1996 TXT, the whole steering wheel/column moves up and down. Looks like it had a hit on the right hand side as the tie rod end near the right wheel is bent.

As you look at the cart from the from the front the rack has three mounting points, the casting where the left bolt attaches is broken allowing the rack to rock.

I have a new rack on order (along with tie rods and tie rod ends), but I’m confused as to how many bolts should secure the rack - three or four?

This VIDEO shows three bolts under the cowl and a fourth from the passenger compartment (at 6 minutes and 41 seconds).

The cart I’m working on does not have a bolt in this location. I can see the casting mounting hole through a hole in the bulkhead, but the hole is so large I would have to add fender washers or a plate for it to do anything (bolt will go straight through the hole).

The Parts Catalog shows a bolt and spring washer in this location, and only two bolts under the cowl.

What is the correct attachment method?

Here is a picture of one in my shop. Same model as yours. That bolt goes in the Steering Rack .

Thanks, I've looked at several and it appears to vary.
