2004 TXT Tie Rod Placement question
Just aquired a 2004 TXT Series and I have it torn down to the frame and want to go with a 4" lift. It has a 4 bolt steering and the axle mounted steering. The only two options I've been able to find are EZGO's standard/premium lift ($400-$600 available now) and All Sport's 4" ($280 w/ a 10-12 week lead time).
Having said that, I've not been able to find any info on where the tie rod ends up with the EZGO standard lift. On the premium and All Sport, it's compensated for and raised hidden/protected (from what I've read and watched)...please correct me if I'm wrong Just looking for an answer or pic of the EZGO OEM 4" standard lift with the 4 bolt axle-mounted steering with the single-long tie rod and whether its protected or left exposed after the lift because I dont want to drop $600 on a premium lift nor would I like to wait 3-4 months for one. Thanks! |

Re: 2004 TXT Tie Rod Placement question
The single tie rod on the stock 4” lift is below the axle so not protected. Not sure about the other.

Re: 2004 TXT Tie Rod Placement question
Thanks. I have done a few carts over the years but slowed down now. Not enough time.
