New Batteries? So what?
So I have a 93 EZGO Marathon with a 400amp controller and an upgraded motor. The batteries are from 2003...but they all still hold a charge, and the cart actaully runs pretty good. Also have 4guage cabling (all stuff I learned from this forum).
This may be a stupid question...but what kind of performance change will I see with new batteries. Am assuming longer run time...but could I get more torque (for hill climbing), speed, all of the above? Bottom line is that I am curious if buying a new set of batteries is a worthy investment at this time. |

Re: New Batteries? So what?
Judging by the age of your batteries I would say it is about time to replace them....... but you have not given any specific data to indicate their condition? Expect to some some improved performance IF the new batteries are broken in properly but again the amount of improvement you see is directly related to the condition of your present pack
