Transporting my RXV
Hello All;
New to the cart world. (2008 RXV) Just a quick question to you all.... Would you remove your roof to transport in the back of a P/U truck? I did yesterday when I bought it, but I was just wondering if you all did. I know it can't hurt, but that roof does take up space. Regards, HJ |

I leave the roof on, just fold the windshield down if you have one and be aware of your overall height.

Re: Transporting my RXV
Our neighbor transported a TXT with the roof on and it in fact blew off. I normally do not remove them but I also do not go as fast as I normally would either. I have no idea how fast they were going when it went for its solo flight.
Just keep it reasonable speed and you should be ok, but better safe than sorry. |

Re: Transporting my RXV
If you're really worried, or can't keep your speed down, lash the roof down to provide additional support. A couple ropes cross-tied and attached to the truck bed should give peace of mind.
