Used controller advice
Hey guys,
A few weeks ago I aquired a used FSIP 500 amp control (got a great deal). I spent lots of hours removing everything from my car so that I could install the monster. Had to drill new holes, etc.... When I took my cart for a test ride, it was slower than my stock control and had less torque. I sent it to FSIP and they re-programmed it for me. Now it throws you back in the seat and does about 30 mph with my current Commander motor. (I have a PQ Exucutioner on the way, but that's a different thread) So the lesson: If you buy a used controller that is not programmable from home, send it out for reprogramming first. |

Re: Used controller advice
Good advice. Controllers can be programmed for a specific motor which may leave the second buyer with a mismatch.
