Correct controller for my cart??
Purchased an Alltrax NPX4844EZ for my 97 36v TXT DCS stock cart. The stock controller was Curtis P/N 73144G06 with 9 wires at the connection. This controller is only 5 pin, so I eliminate wires?? Doesn't make sense. Did I purchase the wrong controller for this cart? I was hoping the new controller would be plug/play, knowing I would have to upgrade to a new HD solenoid but I'm trying to wrap my head around controller install first. Leaning on help from members and site sponsors to help, have only purchased the controller thus far. Appreciate the feedback...

Wrong controller for your DCS cart:
The NPX product line are Non-Programmable Controllers used with SERIES Wound Motors, (Field and Armature are in series). These units are designed specifically for factory equipped golf cars. |
