I am new to the cart world and Trying to bring back to life a 81 marathon 2cycle gas,
I have a photo and I am looking to see if someone can tell what this part is?

looks like a voltage regulator to me? I know on the older 2 stroke Yamaha snowmobile I replaced one that looked just like that. It had seven wires comming out of it.
Maybe this helps?

look like a ignitor you can bypass the ignigtor with a hei module for chevy truck

Thanks, for all your help!
I thought it was the ignitor too,but I wasn't sure.
How do you do the chevy truck hei?which model hei should I get?
Any help on that would be great!
