Default 1987 EZGO Clutch problem (Broken?)

Well, here we are again with ANOTHER clutch issue on my golf cart.

This time, the primary clutch came off the shaft of the engine and the cart wouldn't move.

We lowered the rear end, removed the axel, and removed the clutch. The piece inside the whole assembly is cracked in three places and all the three roll pins that held it on the shaft are gone. Someone previously must've cracked it while they were tightening it because there is a big weld on all three cracks.

Can just this that part be replaced or do I have to fork over a few hundred bucks for a new primary clutch?

Looks like a replacement clutch is needed. Maybe post a want ad in the parts forum ???? might get lucky and find a used part but you'll probably find most of the center bushings are wore out Good Luck.

Thanks for the great news lol yeah we're kinda bummed but oh well, that's what happens when you buy as is.

I guess we'll mess around with it to see if we can get it to work because it's obviously not gonna get worse.

Thanks again.
