Backfire
I've got a 2000 ez go golf cart with a 295 robin. It backfires at low rpm when going slow speed on level ground. I adjusted the valves and the intakes were tight and the exhaust were set right. I don't know what to do or check to see why it does this. It runs good and pulls good other than that. Anyone can help me to correct this. Thanks

Re: Backfire
Throttle cable is probably too tight and not allowing the plate to close before the micro switch opens then closes again. Read that as when you are close to idle and you let up on the pedal, the voltage going to the motor gets shutdown but the motor is still spinning pulling fuel. You tap the pedal and it gets voltage again with raw fuel. Backfire.

Re: Backfire
I'll try it. I got the body off the frame getting it ready to paint. It will be easy to get in there.
