G1 No Starting In Reverse
I have a 1985 Yamaha G29 that will not start in reverse, crank good, has spark in reverse but will not start? Suggestions?

If it is the G1 2 stroke, it may sound silly but do a compression test in forward and reverse.

Check that compression for sure. When it runs in forward is it running well or is a bit sloppy? You may want to jack the back of the cart up and try to make sure that there is nothing in the transmission / rear end holding you back? By the life of me I don't know if that's even possible. I am just throwing it out there.
