answered my own question it is A1-A2 that runs the starter. when i run the starter i get no voltage from F1- F2 even when i ground the df to the neg. There is continuity between F1,F2 and DF so that means the is no break in the coil and there should be power produced right?
any body?

I would say if the generator runs when voltage is applied it should charge. I remember checking auto generators this way. Typically if it motored it would charge. Good luck...
