04 txt questions from a newbie
I just got my first cart . Its a 04 txt with what I believe is a 295. It has a broken connecting rod. I pulled the engine apart and there was no damage to anything else. I need some advice .. does anyone have the torque specs? Where do I put the timing marks? Valve lash? Is it common for these to break rods? I just planed on replacing both. Should I replace the timing belt? Is there any modifications I should make wile I have it apart? I am a mechanic by trade but its my first cart project. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

go to the "Stickys" at the top of the ezgo gas forum,,, you can find the service manuul and it will tell you all you need to know about the eng,,,,being that year I would think it has the 350cc,,, same eng just bigger bore
