Default Need help with conversion

I have an 81 ezgo sparky that I'm converting to a sled motor. I know one of the major issues is finding a gas differential. I have a guy who is willing to trade me a Harley rear end setup for my electric out of my marathon. My question is, will the Harley rear end work for a conversion to a sled motor? I haven't looked at Harley's at all so I have limited knowledge on them. If I can get this sorted out, the build will begin.

Thanks

Is the Harley rear end a transaxle? Does it have F&R. Will it mount up physically? What is the wheel width and suspension mounting? Does it look like it do is able?

I just got a picture of the axle from the Harley. Doesn't look like it is going to work out (unless someone knows something I don't). Dang it. I started to get my hopes up.

If anyone has a gas rear axle that would work for my project and you might be willing to get rid of, PM me.

i hate it when i get my hopes up and then let down...i see that you are in hubbard you might want to run over to the club car dealer in woodburn and see what used stuff they have out back i know you have an ezgo but it might be worth the trip since you are so close. let me know if you don't know where it is and i will give you the address or directions....
