Spindle Lift or Drop Axle Lift? Which one?
2007 EZ GO TXT, wanting to put 22x11x8 offset wheels on it. What size lift would I need? I know the difference in the spindle lift and the drop axle lift, but which is better for minor trail riding? The price on each seems to be about the same.

that tire size will require a four inch or better lift. the 8 inch wheel however will only fit on a drop axle lift. most spindle lifts require a 10 inch wheel or better.
my personal preference is drop axle. they tend to put less stress on the suspension. |

First, welcome to BGW
 . There is a lot of different info on this site about this and you may get more specific info if you use the search option. Basically, you will need a minimum of a 4” lift but may want a 6” for extra clearance if off roading. Both are good lifts, although some say the drop axle is more sturdy? I haven’t seen anyone have a problem with the spindles. I have the allsports drop axle bc it provided a place for me to mount my winch. Check with the site sponsors for the lift, tires, and wheels. Most offer a combination discount plus, it provides support for BGW. I use Everything Carts bc they offer free shipping and other incentives. Also, make sure you get the lift specific for your cart. |

Look at the Factory economy lift - An excellent option for the price and MUCH stronger than any of the other drop axle or spindle lifts...

I will tell you that the OEM is a stronger front drop axle - the choice is yours in the end, however...
