Cover for exposed pedal linkage
I have an EZGO TXT lifted electric cart.
Like most other ezgo carts (I think) the gas and brake pedal linkage is exposed under the floor of the cart, and is exposed to being caught or bumped while off roading. Today I ran over some hidden wire, and it caught my gas pedal making it go full throttle until I turned the cart off. Does anyone know of a skid plate or cover for this, or ever make one? This is not my cart, but I used this pic to illistrate the linkage I am talking about: |

Re: Cover for exposed pedal linkage
I've never seen a "store bought" cover, but would be easily made with some heavy sheet metal bent to the shape you need/want, then attached using either sheet metal screws or drill and tap holes onto the frame to hold it on.
