Battery volt drop
Is it normal for me to charge my 48 volt pack(6-8 volt batteries) to 50.9 then 24 hours later (not driving it) the volt pack it 50.4?

Re: Battery volt drop
That's pretty normal. When first read so close to end of charge, you're really reading a surface charge. You have to let the pack dissipate that for several - almost 24 hours to get the true reading.

Re: Battery volt drop
My guess is this, if the reading stays very close to 50.4 for more than a day then 50.4 is the true total charge. If it continues to drop significantly you recharge and disconnect the main + or - and see if there is a parasitic drain from the cart on the pack.

Ok, so I am charging my cart. It's in the final stages of charging (I have a onboard charger with light inductors). The total pack voltage while in final stages of charging is 61.3. Three of my batteries are 9.7 at final stages of charging and my other three are at 10.7. Is that normal or a indication of battery problems?

Re: Battery volt drop
Your total voltage is fine but you should not be seeing that much difference between the batteries. That would suggest they are not all of the same condition and if left that way can cause charging issues as a pack.
