Re: Intermittent Solenoid Clicking On and Off
Sounds like an intermittent microswitch in the mcor...Remove the 2 pin connector from it and bypass it by inserting a wire or paper clip in the harness,,,

Re: Intermittent Solenoid Clicking On and Off
I’m just glad I didn’t have to respond to myself again! Lol
I’ll check it out and will report back. |

Re: Intermittent Solenoid Clicking On and Off
Okay, this might sound very dumb but forgive me. Am I putting the paper clip in only 1 of the 2 pin connectors? If so, which one?

Re: Intermittent Solenoid Clicking On and Off
There is only one 2 pin connector...The other is a 3 pin connector...You want to unplug the 2 pin connector and insert the clip in the connector...

Take your DVM and run the red probe to the Main Pack Pos and then the black probe to the small post with the yellow wire on it. (small post - not the big post with the yellow cable) and see if you get pack voltage (If not, the OBC is bad and you lost the Neg). If so, move your black probe over to the Main Pack Neg and the red probe to the other small post on the solenoid which also has a small red wire and white wire w/black trace. With the key On, FNR in Fwd and Go Pedal depressed, you should get pack voltage (If not, you lost one of those inputs listed above (Key switch, FNR MS or throttle MS) and need to trace back and find the culprit). |

Re: Intermittent Solenoid Clicking On and Off
I’ve bypassed the OBC to use a smart charger. I’m going to test it when I get back to the house.

You would still test it as described in the previous post. |
