Default EZGO series, no go after f/r change

1999 ezgo series. Was working but slowly, heat on cables from f/r. Checked cables and 3 were loose. Broke volt trying to tighten so replaced. After replacement I get nothing. No solenoid, no back up beeper, nothing. Pack voltage is 38.6. Pretty sure I put everything bad as it was except for black wire going directly to buzzer. Not sure how to troubleshoot.

Double check the micro switch wires. The micro switch closet to the batteries should have a red wire coming from either the Reed switch or main B+, and a blue wire. Without those wires the solenoid will not click.

I have red wire from reed switch and blue wire on micro switches nearest battery. Orange wire on switch on the other side. Black to the buzzer. Get nothing.

If your have a volt meter, check for voltage on the red wire with the black negative lead on the main battery B-.

Also you could try running a jumper from the main battery positive terminal to the red wire which will bypass the Reed switch and eliminate it.

Thanks for the help. Will try it and get back. Should the voltage be pack voltage on the red wire (coming from the reed) where it plugs into the f/r micro switch? If so, it's not

Thanks! That's the one I wanted him to see, but I'm mobile and couldn't look it up.

Thanks a ton. Hope that bypassing reed switch does the job.
