missind diode (resister)
my 91 has a diode across the solenoid but not on the 90 ezgo, what gives ? does the 90 need one like the 91
|

90 is a resister cart, and I would assume the 91 is a controller cart right? The resister cart doesn't need it.

both carts are identical other than the diode.

If they are the same they both need the diode. They will run without them it's a manufactures suggestion to keep spikes from burning them up and to keep from arcing inside the solenoid.
