EZGO gas cart running issues
I have a 1978 ezgo gas cart that I got running again. The issue I have is that when I pull the choke out it will go and once I push the choke all the way back in it slows to a crawl within a minute. If I pull back out the choke and do it again it will do the same thing. I have found a spoke on the choke to push it back into and that seems to work sometimes and will let me go a good bit. Do I need to clean out the carborator or is this a fuel pump issue? It is a 78 robins engine if that makes a difference and it is a premix gas/oil. I was doing 1 oz to 1 gallon of gas according to the owners manual.

Re: EZGO gas cart running issues
Choking it reduces the amount of air so more fuel is pulled in. I wuld say clean the carburetor first.
