Default 1983 g1 manual

I went to the Yamha site for a manual and the oldest one is for a 84. Is the manual the same as the 83? I haven't picked up the cart yet its still at the dealer. I looked at it last week and put a save till better weather here. I was impressed with it cause it was in the middle of a snow bank and the sales man turned the key did some choking and it started right off.

Yes the 84 service manual will work on 83 to 88 G1's. Good luck on your new adventure. Later Dave

I clicked on your name, but still I see no place to pm you. I had hoped to go to the dealership today to get my cart, but it's rainning here in sw Minnesota. When I do get to go is there any things I should realy look close at before I buy and take home the cart?
