Electrical Accessories - Can I do it?
I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot, but here goes. I go paddleboarding a lot and have an inflatable one. It came with a pump that plugs into your car's cigarette/accessory power or directly clamps to the battery. It's recommended that you use this pump when the car is running. It'll run for about 10min before the board is fully pumped up.
What I just thought of is I wonder if I could buy one of those accessory 12v cigarette ports and put that on my cart that's running a 6x8v T-875 trojan batteries with a 12v/20A converter already installed for lights. The pump has an optional lithium 4000mAh battery that they claim could pump two boards before it needs to be recharged. What I don't know is being flooded deep cell batteries would this cause any damage or severely discharge the cart that might get me stranded...I'm not sure how to figure out the total amp-hour of the battery pack in the cart - if that's a capable comparison. |
