Re: atv front suspension
DO you have any concern for the weight difference between the ATV the front end was designed to carry and the obviously heavier (maybe 2Xs heavier) Golf Cart?

Re: atv front suspension
And I've learned a few things about it too! The 300ex shocks are plenty heavy enough for my light cart, but I intend to upgrade to 400ex shock and a-arms this winter (for width and more travel). But the front ride is butter smooth, the rear-end on the other hand.........

Re: atv front suspension
Who are you asking, me? If so it's a Honda 300ex front frame clip swap, that has had NO problems on several tough trail rides in a couple of states, where a Golf Cart should not go! Check out http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...ighlight=300ex

Re: atv front suspension
The OP, that looks great I'd like to do an ATV front some time. The OP said par car I thought I had looked at one that was a copy of a G9 but not 100% it was a parcar. It had a 9hp B&S in it factory iirc.
Anyway dig around in here there are threads on ATV fronts. You have to figure out how wide you want it then mount the arms that far apart, then there are various ways people attach the arms to the frame. Some cut the frame off and build a sub assembly to weld on, others put the arms on the frame with smaller brackets and don't cut it off. Some mod the atv frame to attach to the cart. |
