I have a 2006 CC gas it dies in reverse after going just a short distance I found that if I hold the shift lever in it works fine, dose anyone know what part that I need to replace? GMAN

Lift your seat off so you can see the micro switch on the shifter cam.
Put it thru the motions and you should find your problem.

That yellow part you mentioned is the 'maintenance mode' you may
have heard folks talk about. You can pull out on it and turn it
180 degrees, it will fall back in place, now, the engine will only
start in neutral. Is your micro missing the cam to the side, or
just not enough to turn it on. If you have sideways slack in
the switch, you may need to replace it. If it's just not riding high
enough you can take 2 pairs of needlenose pliers and bend the arm.
My cart does the same thing, but, no more than I use reverse, I just
hold it in place.

Its that it dose not ride high enough on the micro switch so I will bend it and see how long it will work but like you said no more than you use reverse just holding it in place is ok. Thanx, GMAN
