Nissan leaf pack help
Ive found gen 2 packs as well as gen 3 packs. Do you have to use as many gen3 packs when using them? Looks like they are 16 volts vs the 8.

You can't do a double pack with the double cells. But, if you want the typical 58V pack, you will need to use 4 double modules and not use half of one of them. Attached is a simple diagram showing BMS connection & power connections to the double cell 58V pack.

It looks like the gen 3 is two packs together. I don't see why you can't parallel those - it's just a bit more tricky to bus bar them.
