GE makes good controllers......This guy says you can "adjust" this one.

Supposedly they are adjustable, though not to the level of an Alltrax.. I looked into these because the price is very attractive.. Golf Carts Plus sells the 500A for $309.. Evidently there are three different adjustments that are accessed thru the small, round, blue, plugs on the side of the controller.. The max output, acceleration rate, and one other parameter I don't remember are controlled by pot adjustments under the plugs..

The other adjustment is "Plug brake current" along with the other 2 you said. Curtis and a few others have those pots. Alltrax is adjusted with the software.
