Need more speed!!!

ok guys im new to the forum so go easy. i have searched but can seem to find the answer to my question. i have a 2008 EZGO Freedom RXV. right now she goes 19.5 MPH. i know it can be set to go faster but i don't have any of the codes. EZGO will not release them and the techs supposedly don't have that info. i was told that i could find them on the web. i have a programmer/diagnostic tool to enter the code now i just have to find it.

anyone know the codes or perhaps know a way to make my golf car faster?

Welcome!! Not sure on the RXV. Only thing I know about that is motor or controller swap!

Sorry man....I try to stay up to speed on that kind of stuff and I have never seen or even heard of the code being on the web. The resident E-Z-GO dealers can answer this better than anyone.

no info on speed codes no way to adjust all paramaters preset&locked try going from 16:1 gears to 12:1 only remedy good luck or order a new a/c motor controller that,s unlocked try gear change!

oK THANKS guys! i have searched the internet all over and can't find the supposed codes. where are the best places to buy parts like gear, motor, and such?

yeah i checked them out... i am fairly new to modifying golf cars... i couldn't find anything for the RXV, everything seemed to for the TXT and older. chances are i am not looking for the right thing or it is under a different name. any help would be great.

I know next to nothing on the new RXV but I don't believe that will work on your cart. Isn't your RXV an AC system? And isn't that link for a series DC system?

Yes it is AC... didn't notice it was a DC motor. lol guess i overlooked it. oh well the search continues.
