Default Cart advise for camping in hilly North Ga

We recently joined a camping resort here in NE Georgia. We hope to be camping there quite a bit. We're wanting to buy a used Golf Cart for use going to and from pools, etc.

The area is pretty hilly, and I am advised that a gas cart would be the best in this situation. I was also told that Club Car gas is better than EZGO or Yamaha.

I would like to spend $2000 or less if possible.

Advise?
Would electric be ok in the hills?
How long to batteries last in the electric carts?

Any tips or information would be appreciated.

I have an electric cart and dont have any hills, but i think you would be better off with a gas cart.I dont know what you can get in a gas cart for around 2000,unless its an older cart.

if your going longer distances over rough terain i would go gas. stick to a 4 stroke for more torque on the hils. ( no ezgo 2 strokes )

What does everyone recommend for brand? Is it true that Club Car makes the better gas model with the Kawasaki motor?

That's funny right there!!

I've heard ezgo are the best motor, they're twin cylinders the others are single.

Chevy, Ford, Dodge-find one you like and run with it. I had a yamaha for a few weeks, i didn't like it. Haven't had a club car, but I like the way they look.

i find the yamaha engines have good torque, but the ezgo twins would prob do the trick.

Yamaha is a good solid cart and I think the one cylinder carts are quieter an the twins but that's just me, what do I know.......

Yamahas or walk!!

Ok, I'm done.
