Puff of smoke
While using my 97 ds, I experienced a puff of smoke and the cart would not start again causing me to have to tow it. Does anyone have any starting point to troubleshoot this problem? It does turn over and no banging or anything. Just won't fire up.

Re: Puff of smoke
Need to check for spark at the plug,, pull the gas line off the carb, put the end of the hose in a bottle so when you turn the motor over gas don't shoot all over, make sure the gas pump is working, if all that checks out ok, need to do a compression test, and check your oil and make it's not low,, i'am not sure if that motor has a oil sensor, or not

Re: Puff of smoke
I'll check all that out. I do know the oil is good cause I just did a oil/filter change and ran it for a few days and checked level, oil was good. Thx
