Whats the difference between these two motors???
I currently have a 2000 EZ-GO TXT Series cart with this motor: A95-4005A but the motor seems weak. I know someone selling me a new A95-4005B and want to know the following:
1 Will it work with my cart? 2. Will i see any benefits over my old 1999 motor? Speed/Torque? Thank You, Joe |

I don't know the difference between 4005A and 4005B, but it may be that your motor needs brushes. If they wear down short enough until one of the four doesn't have sufficient spring pressure to contact the commutator you may be running at half power.

Re: Whats the difference between these two motors???
the motor in your cart is an upgrade over the 4005B. the 4005B supplies about 5% LESS torque/speed.
