89 DS throttle linkage

Having trouble finding what parts I’m supposed to have here. This is 89 DS throttle cable hook up box. Also inside are the voltage regulator and solenoid. I have it out of its normal place to figure wiring out. I’ve found diagrams that have a plastic cover but they are 92 and up. Anybody have a picture of this intact or a correct diagram of this? I tried the plastic cam from the diagrams I found but it is not right for this setup.

This cart was bought as a basket case and I’m trying to do a predator swap into it. It’s been a long project but I recently got motivated and started working on it again. Thanks for any help.

That early version used a metal swing arm instead of the plastic cam. I'll see if I can get some pictures today.

I did find this diagram & parts list. I imagine almost all of it is out of production and no longer available new, but it gives you an idea of what it was.

Thank you Meimk! that's exactly what i was looking for. I knew right away that the part i got was not designed for this application. I will do a little searching for these parts but will probably end up making something. I guess another option would be to replace the box and everything with the new version if i can find that too. Thanks again

latest news, found the parts from the ***********.com junkyard in alabama. sending me the whole box minus the lid and voltage regulator. i think the price is stupid for it ($75) but, im not going to get them anywhere else.
