Cool Cart Drag Racing 101

I've been reading posts and watching videos on this subject and being new to the forum I have to tell ya I fell like I've been living in a cave. I've been to numerous tracks as both a racer and spectator and have never heard or read anything about it. And here I read you have a sanctioning body and a following to boot. That's awesome!
First question: are most of these set up like Jr. Dragsters?
Second question: wow, what's it cost to be competitive in this?

There was a sanctioning body. It was set up so three guys could profit from it. I think there down to three puppet masters & four puppets. One the other hand. There is another sanctioning body coming that we all can be proud of.

GB's right, the organization that's in place now is flawed and failing but it will be replaced.

Tell us what you want to build electric or gas racer?

Define competitive. And at what level would you wish to race at?

Is that your truck, redraptor? Is it a Little Red Express truck? What a classic.

GB, i still say you could offer that rear suspension set-up as a kit and it would probably sell well.Great option for club car frames where someone that couldn't weld aluminum could just bolt on and go.

There are many variables out there as far as competition goes but over time the classes would define what needs to be brought to the table.
