1997 gas club car
I have a 1997 Club Car that was having problems so changed the coil/igniter all one unit (from advice from a friend) and ran fine for 4 weeks and now will turn over and have spark to sparkplug but will not run. Was ran hard for a while by my girls and the oil was low so changed oil and filter but nothing changed. It will run once started but once stopped it takes 4-5 tries to get going again. Checked fuel pump and is pushing plenty. Been fighting with this for two years now

Re: 1997 gas club car
start by going to the auto store and getting a compression gauge - should read around 140-160psi - could also need a new carb ($24 on ebay)
