2004 Continuous run
I am looking for a diagram to bypass the microswitch on my cart so that it will run without pressing the gas pedal. I have seen a couple of threads on this, but no wiring diagrams. I found the 2 wires coming out of the microswitch, but not sure how to tie them together.

Re: 2004 Continuous run
You just tie them together and it will crank over as soon as you turn the key.
If you have this set up i recommend you add a secondary kill switch somewhere easy to grab. Momentary or on off on the steering column. Hooked to ground then the other wire to the coil on the negative side tward the cdi. If you want it to idle you will need to adjust the positioning screw on the carb butterfly. Keep the idle low. If you do this remember to shut the engine down to change direction. If you dont you will grind gears. |

Re: 2004 Continuous run
Thanks. I will give it a shot.
Do you have any experience with the torque kit that they have at buggies unlimited? It comes with a clutch spring and another component that will make it idle as well. |

Re: 2004 Continuous run
No i don't.
Only converted 2 helping out buddies. One he lost the solenoid and decided to bypass that with an old battery isolation switch from a truck. Master switch on lol. |
