For aftermarket motors use the XCT500IQ with a 400MZJ solenoid and 2 gauge cables through out to bet the best results.

Recently purchased exactly that from Dave at revolution carts. Great transaction, quick shipping and great support after the sale. It was my first time installing all of the above...

Re: supporting vendors here, need quote on controller 2007 villager
There is no "fabrication" required for a controller upgrade. You'll have to drill a few new holes to mount it as it doesn't use the same footprint as the Curtis but it's easy to do. The controller that you choose will determine whether or not you'll need to upgrade the motor as well. The XCT300 and 400 can be used with the factory motor. The 300 can be used with factory solenoid and cables, the 400 needs solenoid upgrade, and a 4 gauge cable upgrade, the 500 needs 2 gauge cables, solenoid upgrade, and a motor upgrade. Since you already have an upgraded motor I recommend at least the 400. The 500 would be best. Which motor do you have? There may be a field map setting specifically for your motor from Alltrax that you could use to ensure perfect compatibility. Let me know if you have any further questions. I'll be more than happy to assist.
