squeaky steering wheel ??
2002 48v Club Car DS
after a new dash install i am getting a squeak in the steering wheel when it is moved back and forth maybe an inch or two it has a loud squeak it is only when wheels are straight i have checked the steering wheel for tightness column cover is not causing it any ideas ? |

Could be dry gears in rack and pinion. The noise would travel the stearing column. Jack it up and turn it all the way each way a few times. It may move enough grease to quite it down.
