Wow, what a transformation. Looks great. Hopefully, she runs just as well.

Keep us posted.

We'll I've been driving it around the neighborhood. No more seal leaks.

The more I read on this site, the more I learn.

I now know that I've been mixing the fuel/oil ratio a little rich 100:1. I lean that out in the future.

I now know that the timing is full advanced(full clockwise). I'll back it off to the middle of the adjustment.

Here what I've done so far:
Removed engine
Cleaned exterior of engine
Cleaned fuel tank inside and out
Cleaned spark plug
Made new muffler hold down straps (2)
Lubed front grease fittings
New crank shaft/case seals (2)
New air filter
New carburetor
New fuel filter
New fuel lines
New ignition switch
New starter solenoid/relay
New WalMart 24 mth group 58 battery
New wood for seats (3)
New seat covers (tan)

I'm gonna check/lube the front wheel bearings and change the rear differential fluid. When I take the engine back out to adjust the timing I'll look inside the engine clutch. It is working fine but is noisy?

What's the correct spark plug # for the 2 stroke 3PG

What else?

Thanks
Don

I forgot to mention it earlier. Look at your pictures after the flywheel is off. The timing on the 3pg doesn't get centered. If you put it back to original, you are good to go.

I put it back like I found it. See pic below

The spark plug that's in it now is a Champion RL95YC, is this correct?

Gap is .030"

Here's is what it looks like after a 3 mile cruise. See pic

What do you think?

It takes a NGK BP5HS or Champion L92-YC. Found it in Chapter 20_S of the owner operation and service manual:

I’m not trying to hijack your thread but I was hoping somebody in here might be able to help me. I am having trouble finding new reeds for my 3pg motor and I was wondering if anybody had any ideas , leads, or knew of reeds from another application that would work

Your current one didn't go much easier if I recall... Both times you pulled the flywheel off
