Default Yamaha G1 Stops after 14/15 holes golf

Hi fellas...I have a Yamaha G1 that I have had for a cpl of years now. Its had a top end rebuild and all new seals gaskets and a service kit put in it with input help from you guys here on this forum...
Now the old girl has been going like brand new for months and not a problem...All of a sudden she has stopped after 3/4 of a round at the course.i got her home cleaned the filters, plugs...tried to start her...no go(had spark)spayed some engine starter in the carby and away it went, using her around here no worries for days just poking about...Today she stopped again after 15 holes...got towed the rest of the game...Halfway down the 18th I put the foot on the pedal and away no worries for the rest of the game...Now the weather here at the moment is in the 40's c deg...Could it be the coil breaking down once hot??..
If it had a fuel block it would not start up again?

Thx Griff.

Update....When I got home I ran it up and down the road here for ages until was hot...I opened up the fuel filler flap to let the heat out it was quite warm but not excessive really... I did read here somewhere that the CDI modules fail at this age when hot then work when cool...Still confusing tho...as I am sure when it did it the first time it had spark, then fired up with a spray of starter ....weird.

youll probably have to keep a spark checking tool on the cart until it happens again. How old is the fuel pump? and how long have the crank seals been in it?
I swapped my fuel lines to clear so I can see if its getting fuel. I would think the ignition coil would get hot and fail but not really sure about the CDI.

Temp may not be the issue. Check all the basics: air, fuel, spark, compression

A check of compression when hot would be useful. If it's running really hot, it might not be getting oil. Are you using the stock oil injection system?

Hi Slonomo....Thx...I am unsure of the oil pump so I use premix ...When I pulled the plug out it was very dry tho.

Update....Changed the 2 fuel filters and one that I remover did not drain out when I took it off...Meaning it was blocked...I blew through it, the fuel then came out but it was hard to blow so I am thinking it was fuel blockage, I also left the fuel door flap open to let the heat out of the engine bay(overheating CDI?)...It did 18 holes yesterday in a scorcher of a day...No problem .
