New carb for J10
I have a J10 cart, and need to replace the carb. I cannot seem to find the exact replacement anywhere online. There are many though for 83 models on that is very similar. Is it okay to use this newer style on my 80 model. Thanks

I think I have answered my own question. Found the part number J24-14101-00 and it shows the newer carb as the replacement for the original.

if you are actually buying an OE J24 yamaha carb then thats sweet and you should be good to go.
If its NOT AN OE carb dont pay any more than $30 bucks shipped for it. ALL OF THEM AND I MEAN ALL are mokuni chinese knockoffs and are very hit and miss, maybe 1 in 3 are woth a ****. I see these stupid things listed as G1 performance cars at 50 to $100 bucks and some folks just dont know any better. There is no performance carb for the G1, its either stock or a mikuni knock off (I.E. mokuni) |
