Yamaha 2013 YRDA 4 wet brake replacement
I’m trying to replace my internal brakes on my Yamaha gas cart with Team rear end. I got the rearmed off and removed old brake components and replaced with new components that came in a kit I ordered. Once I get it all lined up with a few bolts started and align the discs so the gear drops in. I remove the gear and tighten all 6 bolts down. Once I tighten them the axle will no longer turn almost like the new brake discs are too thick.. anyone have and suggestions.

Something is together wrong. Check that your spider gear & bearing is fully seated. It should have resistance (just the friction of the stack of discs sitting together). It should still turn.
Check the order & quantity of your stack. |

I did use that diagram to put it back together. Maybe the bearing isn’t seated all the way. I will check that.

So I had left an old plate in there and had six plates instead of 5. 🤦🏻

I'm assuming that fixed it?

Yes, that fixed the brakes but now I am having trouble with putting the governor back together right.

Get everything back together and it hauls butt but runs rough and sputters. The cable that runs to the carberator seems very slack. Not sure what to do from here...
