can someone tell me how to check and change transaxle oil in a 2011 Yamaha g29 and what kind of oil does it take

There is a fill plug (oil should be just to the bottom of it). And theres a drain plug.

Heres the correct oil.

If it has a lift kit you will need to jack up the rear end or back it up on some ramps to get the trans axle level to get the right fluid level reading.

Is that the only oil to use? Plowmans says to put mobile 1 synthetic.

You can fill it with whale oil if ya want, I'm just defaulting to the yamaha suggested oil. I, personally use conventional & change it every 2 years (yamaha suggests 4). I say 2 because of the heavy loading of brake material that ends up in the oil.

There are a hundred oil brands/products that would fulfill the axles needs, I just suggest the yamaha specific one because it's real hard to screw up. (Has all the needed additives in it)
