70's 36V System Club Car Charging
I have a 1970's 36Volt Club Car. I just put some good used batteries in it and went to plug the charger into the cart and it started to spark and smoke? The charger is not even plugged into the wall outlet?
Any ideas |

Re: 70's 36V System Club Car Charging
what you had was a short between the charger plug terminals. I'd suspect a problem in the charger.

Re: 70's 36V System Club Car Charging
Have you checked wiring diagram for your cart with STICKIES ABOVE? If the charger worked before battery change I would guess incorrect wiring.
WE HAVE ALL DONE It, so its nothing new. |
