Re: 96 club car
OK with series motor the ORIGINAL STOCK accelerator pedal speed control is mounted under drivers side floor. Do you have a digital volt amp meter that you know how tgo operate?
If meter is available go to ( 3 wire plug and unhook ) near pedal speed control and with meter set on at least 5 K ohms setting, test across the YELLOW wire and White with Black strip wire. With pedal UP you should read around 5K ohms and as pedal is depressed it should slowly drop to near 0 ohms with pedal to the floor. If ohms reading jumps around you need to replace this unit ( NOT AVAILABLE FROM CC ) and most replace them with later model MCOR conversion kit from CC. |

Re: 96 club car
isn't the MCOR on the motor different than the M-core on the pedal box?

Re: 96 club car
The MCOR is a black box mounted under the passenger floorboard to the side of the frame and has a rod that extends to the accelerator that is rotated as the pedal is depressed . . . not to be confused with the CONTROLLER in the motor compartment . . .
