Sorry to hear you spun a motor stud, sometimes the damage is minor and can be repaired.

thanks for all the help Scotty. Yeah my heart stopped when I twisted wrench and noticed that the stud was turning too. It was the last one go figure. Oh well I think I will bite the bullet and get a new motor any suggestions?

thats repairable but it is an excuse to upgrade...............depending on which one spun 2 of them are attached inside and 2 are not but all parts are available and not very expensive..............if you do the work should be about a 50 dollar bill if you replace all 4 studs..................................

I would just send it to puumquick and have them rebuild it for you. Remember, always use wrenches when turning motor nuts. All of my wrenches were too fat to put on the lower nut so I picked up a cheap 9/16 at harbor freight and put the grinder to it until it fit.
