star cart
I have a star golf cart that runs about 2 miles an hour the batteries all check out good all cables are tight I have 48 volts anyone have any ideas

Welcome to BGW
the year and model would help alot I would guess it is the speed sensor/magnet is loose or cracked in the end of the motor. Could be low volts from the batteries??. could be the controller taking a crap |

I have checked each battery separately with a heavy duty load tester and they are only 3 months old
Any I ideas how to check the conyroller |

I have heard that some have corrosion in the plug to the speed sensor. You might want to look there first. It sounds like its in limp home mode. I found this on you tube I think its almost the same cart.
